Support for the workers’ struggle at La Poste in France

Dear Brothers,

On behalf of the 56,000 members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, I am sending greetings of solidarity and support. We want to thank you for opposing the reforms at La Poste.

Privatization hurts workers and results in poorer quality services. By standing up against postal privatization you are fighting for a universal public post office that treats its workers fairly. We are engaged in the same fight for many years. To stop globalization, privatization and deregulation, all postal workers of the world have to be united.

It’s going to be a busy fall

Harper’s trying to hang on to power.

Opposition parties are after him for his ineffective response to the economic crisis.

Elections in Afghanistan have taken place amid charges of fraud.
