Congratulations Everyone!
UPCE picket lines are strong and lively. Way to go, Brothers and Sisters! This past week, I joined the strikers on a number of occasions and it was pretty inspiring. It also brought back some good memories. Morale is high.
The reports we’re receiving from all over show that CUPW members are helping to swell numbers on the picket lines. Thank you. Their struggle is also our struggle! By strengthening the picket lines we are living by the proud motto of the labour movement: “An injury to one is an injury to all.” And we’ll continue to do so. Action – that’s what solidarity is all about.

They want to protect the rights they currently enjoy. Having a disability insurance plan with meaningful protection is a basic working condition, both for workers and their families. Let’s not forget what Moya Greene has in mind: developing a model that she’ll then try to force on everyone else. We can’t let that happen.
So let’s all hit the picket lines!
Let’s force Canada Post to return to the bargaining table.
The struggle continues.
In solidarity,
Denis Lemelin
National President
