A busy summer, a challenging fall
I hope you are taking advantage of this season to relax, and spend time with your friends and family.
As CUPW members, we know that the struggle continues even in the summer. At national Office we are working to achieve fairness for RSMC’s, on Modern Post, and on the Federal Government’s Strategic Review of Canada Post.
We need to prepare for a difficult fall. Canada Post will be pushing for their view of a postal service that is geared towards the needs of the 200 largest mailers. CUPW will continue to advocate for our vision of a public post office that delivers quality, universal, affordable service while providing good jobs and a safe workplace.
Every CUPW member has a role to play. I am asking you to attend your Local meetings, to sign our post card on the Strategic Review, to participate in demonstrations and to stand up for your rights and the rights of your co-workers. By working together we will win!
